Midterm Angiographic Follow-up for Off-Pump Versus On-Pump Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting in a Randomised Controlled Study

      Background: Previous trials on off-pump coronary artery bypass (OPCAB) have been patient selective and evaluated only short-term graft patency with variable outcomes in a limited data when compared with on-pump (ONCAB). The aim of this study was to undertake a prospective, randomised, controlled study of patients with multiple vessel disease and compare graft-patency rates and clinical outcomes in OPCAB with ONCAB surgery in a single centre – single surgeon setting.
