Real-Time Three-Dimensional Transoesophageal Echocardiography to Guide Transapical Mitral Valve Repair

      Introduction: Transapical mitral valve repair (TAMVR) is a novel surgical technique where the surgeon performs mitral valve repair with artificial chords from a transapical surgical approach. This technique may be a minimal invasive alternative approach in patients with mitral valve prolapse. Since this technique is solely echocardiography guided aim of this report is to describe usefulness for real-time three-dimensional transoesophageal echocardiography (RT-3DTOE) in guiding this procedure.
