      Introduction: Malignant pleural mesothelioma (MPM) has long been recognised as an aggressive form of cancer resistant to non-surgical treatment. The primary objective of the present systematic review was to evaluate the safety and efficacy of extrapleural pneumonectomy for patients with MPM.
