We have read with great interest about Chen et al.’s experience of totally endoscopic
beating-heart tricuspid repair in redo cardiac surgery [

]. We congratulate the authors on the quality of their work, which provides a valuable
reference article about this clinical situation. They demonstrated with a retrospective
cohort study that beating-heart, video-assisted, minimal-access tricuspid repair after
previous cardiac surgery is feasible to reproduce. The annuloplasty technique was
used in the tricuspid valve repair; here we have some questions regarding this paper.Keywords
